Designed to provide controlled, consistent texture, this 24-inch finishing broom is a useful tool for SEMCO contractors working with cementitious materials. The soft plastic bristles create a fine, uniform texture without producing an overly aggressive profile, making the broom suitable for applications where controlled surface texture is important.
For SEMCO microcement projects, the broom can be useful for creating or refining a light mechanical profile on appropriate cementitious layers when the SEMCO application calls for this type of surface treatment. The 24-inch wood block provides broader coverage than smaller hand tools while still allowing good control for touch-ups, detail work, and smaller working areas.
For projects requiring additional reach, the broom can be connected to standard broom-thread handles, available separately. The 5-foot wood handle (CC163) is recommended for general use, while the 6-foot wood handle (CC163L) provides additional reach for larger areas.
Built-in holes in the wood base allow compatible 2-hole brackets to be installed for improved movement and control. For additional flexibility, the broom can be paired with a Broom Bracket Base (CC494) and Flipper Tilt Bracket (CC496), sold separately.
